» Introducing the Sci-Fi Sims Logo Contest.

Sci-fi Sims needs a logo and I am officially announcing a contest to come up with one. I would like all of the hosts to post a notice on their sims site to announce the contest.
Entries have a deadline of Midnight July 15th 2009 and the hosts will then choose which logo is the winner by the 20th of July.
Logos should be at least 800 x 640 resolution and sent in either a PNG or JPG format. They must not be a copyrighted image. The image file should be named scifi_logo_[contestant name]. Sci-Fi Sims will become the owners of all images submitted for the contest but the creator of the image will recieve credit for their creations. There is a limit of 2 submissions per contestant. Contestants should email their submissions to logo_contest@sci-fisims.com.
The winner will receive credit on all sites that the logo is used on. Also the user will receive a $25 gift certificate or the equivalent of that amount (hey I realize that some of us aren't in the US) to the place of your choice.
Lets see who are artists are and what they've got.

Hello Everyone,
It\'s been a long time since we posted on the Endeavor but I wanted to let you all know that I haven\'t given up on her. As a matter of fact I have been planning something big for the last few months and have even talked to a few of you about my ideas. Well now the time has come to unveil my plans.
We are restarting the simm in a new time period. The time is set 5 years from the last mission with a new ship. This new Endeavor is far more advanced than anything that Starfleet has ever produced and will serve as a springboard for the next generation of Starships. She is faster, stronger and more capable than her predecessor but shares her legacy.
Commodore Reilly has received a promotion and is now the Chief of Starfleet Operations. This new Endeavor has a new Commanding Officer, a veteran from the recent war with the Romulans whose bravery has led Starfleet to give him command of the new ship and send her out on a mission of exploration.
For those who are still interested in being part of the simm either IM or send me an email so that we can figure out where your character is on the new Endeavor.
Also please take the time to update your bio\'s to show where you character has been for the last 5 or 6 years.
The last mission that we ran was officially the Endeavors last mission but there have times when she was sent on secret missions. Those will be used as back story and at times when we want to have retro simms.
For now I would like to introduce you to the new Endeavors Commanding Officer Captain Michael Hunt. Take a moment to check out his bio. It\'s a work in progress but I am sure that you will like what you see.

Hello All,
Well the website has been updated with some pretty cool new features that I hope will get everyone back in the game. Now we are not only able to do joint logs but we can even save the logs so that we don\'t have to all be on at the same time to participate. You simply start a Joint Mission Post and pick the people who are participating. Instead of posting it at the end you save it and eveyone that you picked will be emailed and informed that they have a post waiting for them to edit.
Something else pretty cool has been implemented... Private Messaging. You\'ll also be able to customize the site more to your tastes by picking different rank sets that you see when you log in as well as the different skins that there are to chose from. I will be adding more features as time goes on. Please check back often and please... pretty please POST.
